Polar Processor C++ library v1.0.0

High-performance C++ library to process video from polarized cameras. Implemented algorithms: DoLP, automatic glare removal, virtual linear polarizer, and total intensity image.

Description

C++ library Polar Processor version 1.0.0 is intended to process images acquired by polarization sensors (for example, Sony IMX250MZR/MYR, Sony IMX264MZR/MYR, Sony IMX253MZR/MYR) and implements algorithms of automatic glare removal, virtual linear polarization filter, total intensity image calculation and calculation of linear polarization degree. The library allows to process video from polarization cameras in real time. The library is written in C++ (C++11 standard) and does not use any third-party libraries. The library is compatible with any processors and operating systems that support the C++ compiler (C++11 standard). The library contains a description of the PolarProcessorApi class. The library does not perform any background calculations (only withing dedicated method of PolarProcessorApi class).

Implemented algorithms

  • Automatic glare removal.

  • Virtual linear polarizing filter.

  • Calculation of the total intensity image.

  • Calculation of the linear polarization degree.

Price and Terms

The Polar Processor library is distributed under a proprietary license. Two types of license are used: a license for the compiled version of the library and a license for the source codes of the library. According to the compiled version license we compile the library for a specific operating system and CPU type. If you change the operating system or CPU after purchase and if the library binaries are not compatible you will need to buy a license for the new operating system and CPU combination. The source code license also includes a description of the algorithms. All licenses have no lifetime restrictions and there is no limit on the number of installations. All licenses include one year of updates and technical support. You pay only once and use the library with no restrictions on your software or hardware products.
