GTG-1
A straightforward method for measuring GLASS-TO-GLASS latency in daylight camera systems. An essential tool for engineering teams working with video technologies
The GTG-1 is a glass-to-glass latency meter designed for daylight cameras. A light source is positioned in front of the camera lens and a light sensor is placed on the monitor. The device generates light pulses and measures latency (minimum, maximum, instantaneous, and average) with 1 ms resolution.
The GTG-1 provides a simple way to measure glass-to-glass latency in video systems. The device measures minimum, maximum, average, and instantaneous latency (ms). After being powered on, it begins generating light pulses at 1-second intervals. Place the light source in front of the camera and the light sensor (yellow cable) on the monitor to start measurement.
